Owing to the thickness and density of 4c hair, you do not need too many products to set your bantu knot, just WATER! I struggled with this for years until I finally tried just water and a sealant ...........result was excellent.
THE PERFECT BANTU KNOT
- Wash hair and air dry .
- Whilst hair is still damp, partition in small sections.
- Apply a sealant to sectioned hair and do a tight two way twist. You can use raw African shea butter as sealanr (ori).
- wrap twist several times round until it form a knot.
- Tie hair with a silk/satin scarf before going to bed.
- Before you undo twist in the morning, rub bantu knot with a light weight oil eg coconut /argan oil.
- Undo twists gently........
- Simple right......
